About Chef Academy London

Our Story

Chef Academy London was founded in 2007. After huge success in Italy, we opened our first Academy in the UK, located in central London. Our aim is to train our students to become professional chefs.

We offer an effective practical training scheme that gives our students all the tools and skills to start a career as a professional chef. During the course you will be training in one of our partner restaurants with one of our chef trainers. All students will experience work in a live professional kitchen and get an inside view of the restaurant business. They will deal with every aspect of a chefs routine, from the choice of fresh produce to the balancing of food costs. You will be learning all the techniques required to start work right away. The most important aspect is that we believe that you will be taught in the most effective form. We know how beneficial it is to learn from the professionals in a live environment. We are the only Academy that offers this kind of training and this is the reason that our students have such a high success rate.

HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT AND ADVANCED FOOD SCIENCE, ADVANCED PROFESSIONAL CHEF COURSE, MICHELIN STARRED CHEF COURSE, PROFESSIONAL CHEF COURSE, KOSHER PROFESSIONAL CHEF COURSE, HALAL ADVANCED PROFESSIONAL CHEF COURSE, PROFESSIONAL CHEF COURSE – ITALIAN CUISINE, PROFESSIONAL PATISSERIE AND CONFECTIONERY COURSE, INTRODUCTION TO THE PROFESSIONAL CHEF COURSE, ADVANCED COOKING TECHNIQUES, INTENSIVE PROFESSIONAL PASTRY PROGRAMME. We are able to create a customised course that suits you perfectly!

After completing one of our courses, you will have all the tools needed to start your career immediately. You will be HACCP certified, and will be awarded a diploma from Chef Academy London that is internationally recognised and accredited by ASIC (Accreditation service for International Colleges). You will know your way around the kitchen with confidence and will have all the techniques to allow you to enter a kitchen as an active member of the team.

Will my qualifications be recognised?

Chef Academy London will issue a diploma upon the successful completion of the course. The diploma is also accredited by ASIC UK. Our diploma is very well recognised in the professional culinary world.

How much are the tuition fees?

The tuition fees differ depending on the course. Please refer to individual courses for further details.

How do I apply for courses with the Chef Academy?

Once you have decided on a course of study, you can submit an application form which can be downloaded from the website or you can request one directly from us.

When should I apply?

If you require a Visa, we recommend you begin your application as soon as possible. This is so we can get you enrolled for the date you wish to begin. This will vary from one country to another so we recommend checking with one of our team members about availability and enrollment requirements.

Short Term Student Visas

Chef Academy London accepts international students. Foreign students will need to apply for a short term study visa. Chef Academy will provide a letter to support your Visa application upon full payment of the course fees.

Finances:

Do ensure you have the funds available to pay for the full course fees but also living costs required during the duration of your course. After all, London is not the cheapest city to live in.

Accommodation:

We can assist you with accommodation within a reasonable distance from your place of training. Alternatively you are free to make arrangements personally.

Insurance: We recommend that you take out insurance for yourself whilst you are here.
